La Maison Blanche is a large, newly renovated (2009) farmhouse with a large private swimming pool and six double bedrooms, three brand new bathrooms, and huge areas of elegant indoor living space.

La Maison Blanche is a beautifully converted Quercy stone built farmhouse which has been carefuly and tastefully refurbished and decorated to a very high standard.

Original features have been retained, such as the exposed stone walls and the oak beamed rafters found in the bedrooms. Yet a true sense of space and light prevails throughout creating a modern day version of a French farmhouse.

The living accomodation is spacious, and furnished in a "boutique hotel" style, with a fully equipped high spec kitchen with dining area, two peaceful lounge areas and a large open plan sitting/dining room with an open fireplace and British television for those chilly autumnal evenings.

La Maison Blanche is situated in its own grounds laid to lawn, with large patio/barbeque area and protected by pine trees, surrounded by fields and meadows and located a short drive from the village of Caylus and about 10 kilometres from Saint Antonin Noble Val.

The property comfortably sleeps twelve + people, with six (five doubles & one twin) good sized, stylish bedrooms, and lots of bathroom facilities, (refurbished to a very high British standard,)on both floors. A cot, high chair and put-u-up are also available.

Ground Floor:

Kitchen, ‘Salon’, Bedroom 6

The fully equipped eat-in farmhouse kitchen lies off the all-white entrance hall and large atelier area. The entrance chamber can also be used as a further reception room if desired.

To the other side of the entrance hall is the triple aspect main salon, with 4 x three-seater sofas, and a dining table for 12. One of three sets of French doors in the room opens out onto the large pool area, complete with a shaded outside dining spot, and its teak furniture.

The large downstairs Bedroom 6 is accessed via a small passageway adjacent to the kitchen and is handily located next to the brand new luxury third bathroom. This bedroom is ideal for a couple less able to climb stairs and has patio doors opening onto the front garden.

Two vast original open fires provide warmth in winter and beauty all year round – one in the grand ‘salon’, the second in the kitchen.

1st Floor:

Bedrooms 1-5

Each of the five double bedrooms on the first floor lies off a long, bright hallway and is decorated along the same design principles as the rest of the house. Bedroom 1 has a private shower and sink. Bedroom 3 is large enough to accommodate a third bed if required.

At the centre of the house, the upper hallway opens out into a large seating area with sofas – a cosy and peaceful spot for reading.

Two sizeable, bright brand new bathrooms – each with double basins and slate floors – and a separate W.C. complete the first floor accommodation.

It is an ideal holiday home-from-home for a summer or Christmas house party for a group of friends or large family with plenty of privacy and lots of fantastic space and facilities.

Prices for La Maison Blanche start at £1050 and rise to £1950 per week in the high season.

Please note that La Maison Blanche is a Saturday changeover
