Las Peyrieres

Las Peyrieres is a lovely stone built farmhouse which has been tastefully refurbished but still retains its original idyllic charm. It is conveniently located in the centre of the triangle comprising Laguépie, with its meeting of two pretty rivers, Saint Antonin Noble Val, and the medieval hill town of Cordes-sur-Ciel. Najac, with its impressive castle, is about 20 minutes drive away.

The living accommodation is spacious and simply but nicely decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen, open plan dining area and sitting room with wood burning stove.

There are three bedrooms, two large plus a small double, and the house easily sleeps 6 but can accommodate up to 8 guests; there are two bathrooms.

Outside, the grounds are a mix of lawn, paths and trees, with ample space to relax in the peace and quiet of the beautiful countryside. Children can explore and play - there is a large trampoline and outdoor table tennis. The house has river frontage, but due to the terrain this does not constitute a danger to children. The 9 x 6 metre figure of eight swimming pool is located in front of the house down a set of rustic stone steps to a wooden sunbathing deck - which gets the sun right up until sunset.

This lovely farmhouse in a quiet private location is ideal for a family or group of friends who want a peaceful get-away-from-it-all relaxing holiday, but not too far from the local towns and villages.

The house is located about 15 minutes drive from Saint Antonin Noble Val, about 10 minutes from Laguépie, and 6 minutes from Varen, where there is a bar, small supermarket, and excellent boulangerie.

Please note that the steps to the pool are quite steep and therefore not ideal for the infirm or little ones, and that there are some low beams in the upstairs rooms which taller people will have to stoop to avoid.

Las Peyrieres comfortably sleeps six but can accomodate up to eight people.

Prices for Las Peyrieres start at £550 and rise to £950 per week in the high season.
